It is always humbling when someone whose life touched yours, even for a short time, passes away.

In the years that we have been talking with different people in the entertainment world, surprisingly few of the artists we have spoken with have died. However, when it does happen it is still always shocking and sad – whether they had lived a long, full life like Bo Diddley or Jerry Wexler, or they were snatched from us way too soon and apparently senselessly, as in the cases of Heath Ledger and Natasha Richardson.

Hopefully this section will help to give you a snapshot of some talented artists who are now gone, but show them while they were still alive and vital. We are trying to return you to their passion and their legacy rather than merely feeling the sadness that they have left us behind.

Certainly as time passes more stories will be shared in this section – though we would love nothing more than to be proven wrong on that point.
